The members of the Lake Maud Association envision a lake community where recreational users are courteous and responsible to each other and the residents of its shores and an environment where everyone works together for the common good. The purpose of the association is to improve, preserve and secure the natural resources of Lake Maud and to protect the interests of its residents.

Saturday April 19,2025 10AM
Adopt-a-Highway Ditch Clean-up (Subject to to change depending on weather conditions) The Lake Maud Association is responsible for an annual Adopt-a-Highway Ditch Clean-up from the intersection of Co Hwy 15 and Co Hwy 22 to the intersection of Becker Co 22 and Ottertail Co Hwy 20. Meet at TJ’s Bistro Parking lot at 10am. Any help is welcome! The more volunteers the more fun and the faster it gets done!
Saturday June 21, 2025: Beach Cleanup 9am
Your current paid membership dues allow our association to provide this annual service to help maintain our properties. Please consider helping with this as it benefits our whole community. This is not a regular garbage or recycling service. We will not pick up clothing, recyclables, hazardous or liquid materials, yard waste, construction debris, TV’s, tires, computers, hide-a-beds, concrete, batteries, items of unreasonable size or household garbage. There is a limit of two (2)appliances (microwaves included). Please separate materials such as wood, metal, appliances and motors. Crews will pick up items and there will not be a 2nd go around. We always welcome volunteer loaders and drivers to help with this service. Trucks and trailers will be provided by association members. Please consider helping with this by meeting at TJ’s Bistro at 8:30 am . Any questions can be directed to any board member. HAVE YOUR WASTE AT THE ROAD EDGE BY 9AM THE DAY OF PICK-UP
Saturday June 21: Lake Maud Association Annual Meeting and Social 12 noon
The annual meeting will start at 12 noon at the Cormorant Community Center (directly west of the Cormorant Store). After the annual business meeting and educational program, there will be a meal for current dues paying members. There will be water and lemonade provided and members are encouraged to bring a dessert to share.
**Memberships dues can be paid at the meeting**
Among agenda items to be discussed will be recognition of volunteers, the new Lake Association Web Site, amended bylaws, Lake Steward program and the Election of Officers and Beach Captains
Open Positions include: Vice President and Treasurer and Beach Captains for: Dorff, Maple and Isthmus. If you are interested in being an officer or beach captain please contact any board member or President Dave Morinville at 701-261-2195
July 4, 2025: Boat Parade & Yard Decoration
Boats meet at the public access at 12:00 Noon. $20 TJ’s Bar gift certificate for each boat! (Must start, loop the lake & finish with the parade to receive a gift certificate.) One award will be given for decoration in each of the following categories: Most Patriotic Boat, Most Original Boat, and Best Decorated Yard.

Congratulations to last year’s Fourth of July winners:
– Most Patriotic Boat: The Amundson Family.
– Most Original Boat: The Curt Olson Family, Guardians of Maud, Save the Trees.
– Best Decorated Yard: The Huesman Family.
Judges needed for the boat parade: Participation in the Boat Parade and the Yard Decorating has become a tradition for many families on the lake. Volunteers are needed to judge this event. If you are interested in participating as a judge, please contact one of the board members.
